Convertible was delivered new to IA Miller Goshen Inc. in Goshen, Indiana, where it
was originally bought by its first owner, a resident of the same town. Wearing its original
color as when new, 503 Black over a black trim, it is accompanied by both a black soft
top and hard top. The window sticker also confirms this to be born with a 315
horsepower, 283-cubic-inch fuel-injected V8 engine that’s paired with a four-speed
manual transmission. Other features of this ‘Fuile’ include a signal seeking Wondbar
radio and center console clock.
The first owner would retain this Vette for 20 years before selling it to the current owner
in 1981, also a resident of Goshen, Indiana. In the summer of 2025, the current 40-year
long-term owner completed a mechanical refreshing, which included installing a new
fuel tank, brake lines, brake cylinder, performing a coolant and oil change, and re-
packing the front wheel bearings.
